Biography

The lane is adult film, and the listing places her in it as a female performer, which is the whole of what a catalogue entry can say to a stranger. A catalogue entry is not a biography. It is a set of fields: a name, a variant spelling, a category, a photograph, a link. What those fields do is make a person findable, and findability is the actual product. A performer with a clean entry, one spelling that resolves, one picture that reads at ninety pixels, gets found. A performer with a messy entry does not, however good the scene was.
